AHOY LETTER!We have been a busy bunch here at Anchor Yachts. I strongly believe our economy is turning around as we only have one 2010 vessel in stock. So, if it fits your bill and you don't want to wait to do some serious cruising, give us a call. We are looking forward to receiving our 2011 models for the fall. I am pleased to report that our brokerage vessels have also been selling quickly as well! So if you are interested in a pre-owned vessel, don't wait, give us a call. Forest and I are planning a trip to the yard in August with clients who are in the process of building a Hampton 630 Sky lounge Pilot House to their specifications. We really look forward to showing them their almost completed "Boat of their Dreams", the shipyard firsthand and all the sights of Shanghai. Several of our clients have sent in pictures and letters which we are now incorporating into our site. Check it out and get first hand information on all the wonderful places they are traveling to. I love seeing all the Hampton owners using and enjoying their vessels. There have been several impromptu rendezvous in the Bahamas. Our Hampton owners are a happy bunch and love getting together with other Hampton owners as well as hopeful Hampton owners. So, if you are out there cruising and spot a Hampton, don't be shy just call them on the radio or stop in, once in port. The next Boat Show we will be appearing in is Fort Lauderdale which runs October 28 - November 1, 2010. We will be featuring the Hampotn 630 Sky Lounge Pilot House. Yes, that is the one we will be doing the final inspection on with her new owners. They are allowing us to show her to you and I'm sure they will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the process of building the "Boat of YOUR Dreams". We also hope to have a brand new model, a 62' Hampton Pilothouse. This is a 580 stretched to 62". We listened to our current 580 owners. Many have voiced a preference for a larger Master Stateroom, Flybridge, Salon and Aft Deck with a country kitchen. We were able to accomplish this and welcome everyone's opinion in Fort Lauderdale. We are also working on a Hampton 590 Endurance model. All this going on and Forest has just undergone complete knee replacement. Hopefully, in a few more weeks we will be able to get aboard a boat and do a little cruising of our own this summer. I know I've said it before, but I will take this opportunity to state it again, "It's easy to decide to buy a Hampton, the tough part is deciding which model"! Do not fear, we will sit with you and listen to your plans on how you will use your vessel and advise you which one will meet all - if not most of your needs. Remember, at Anchor Yacht, when you call, a person always answers the phone and if they cannot answer your questions they find the answer and call you back! One of our clients dropped by and wanted me to pass on to you that if you have hydraulic engine controls you should check all the screws located at the very bottom of the control arm and tighten them with an allen wrench. This is normal maintenance and should be checked so you will not experience loss of control of your vessel. NO BAKE COOKEIS Makes 24 Servings 1 CUP SOFTENED BUTTER 1 CUP SIFTED CONFECTIONNER'S SUGAR 1 TEASPOON VANILLA 1/3 CUP CHOCOLATE CHIPS 3/4 CUP SHREDDED COCONUT 2 CUPS QUICK COOKING OATS 1 CUP VINELY CHPPPED PECANS Directions Beat butter and sugar together until creamy. Add vanilla, chocolate chips and coconut and mix well. Stir in oats. Refrigerate dough for several hours. Shape into 1 inch balls and roll into pecans. Store in refrigerator. YUMMY!!
